1. Brain training

Jigsaw puzzles make your entire brain work. The left and right sides of the brain work differently; the left is our analytical side and the right is creative. When working to complete a puzzle, we have to logically sort out the pieces (analysing) and we also have to use our creative side to intuitively place puzzle pieces to see the finished product.

Assembling jigsaw puzzles helps to clear your mind and relax. You will feel delight as you see the puzzle getting closer and closer to completion with every piece you piece together. Not to mention, the sense of achievement and satisfaction when you complete your jigsaw puzzle! Think of it as a form of meditation - listen to music or a podcast in the background, or just clear your mind.
